Hello BP Members,
My name is Brian Garcia and I am 24 and live in Surprise, Arizona. I recently got my Real Estate License in late January 2017 and currently work for Epic Home Realty. On top of that I am Marketing Manager at Saigon Kitchen in Surprise, and work nights in order to have the freedom to grow my Real Estate Business. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Economics from Grand Canyon University and in the process of working on getting my MBA through GCU as well.
So far I am satisfied with my Real Estate Business, I have listed and closed two homes, and currently working with 2 clients (one that will sell & buy, another a first time home buyer). My goal for my Real Estate Business is to have 10 - 12 closed transactions for the year, which would put me over the Az Average of 7. To grow my business I have done seller lead ads on FB, we use Kunversion, which is Lead Generator/CRM and I market to my sphere through mailers/handwritten cards/social media/phone calls & texts/ email. For anyone on here who is a Realtor, what tips/strategies do you use to continue to build your pipeline?
I first came across BP about a year ago while I was finishing my Bachelor's at GCU, I was searching for ways I could make money without working a traditional 9-5. Watching BP on youtube I caught the real estate bug/fever and listened to a episode whenever and however I could. From there I thought my best bet to learn was to get my license and become a Realtor. As a Realtor my goal is to learn the market, hone my negotiation skills, and network.
Moving forward, my goal is to house hack and use the BRRR model to purchase my first live in fix and flip. From there I will continue to do Fix and Flips, until I am financially able to acquire long term cash flowing properties. I am open to any advice anyone is willing to share! Also good books to read, doesn't just have to be real estate related!
Thanks in advance!
