I used the exact same LVP and underlayment OP had in other post. So far it looks and feels pretty good. Labor is expensive, doing what the manufacturer suggests for optimal results isn't something I want to do twice. I am happy and have a vapor barrier as well since I posted in OP's other thread.

While I can't comment on whether or not your need underlay for the flooring "type (wood/concrete)" I can tell you I JUST bought this same exact 4mm flooring from LL in Central Florida. I also bought their HIGHEST rated underlay like you have linked in your post above. I did buy a over 1300 sq ft of the product and my installer minus the prep work said it's actually going in well. I have the underlay going in along with the vapor barrier everywhere except the stairs as both floors of the condo I am remodeling is mostly concrete and I want to "protect" the warranty. I was aggressive in getting a deal as it was my first "pro" purchase at LL and they gave me great pricing I probably won't get the opportunity to replicate again but I may try.

Getting real answers was hard, we have a Floor and Decor in Orlando and the flooring for a rental just seems pricey. I also bought 5 1/4" baseboard from LL and got good pricing on that as well.  Yes it may be a much better product (t/b/d) but my rehab costs went sky high because I ended up gutting the place minus the walls pretty much and that's no one's "fault" but my own. At this point I am glad I did LVP and I'm hopeful I get 10+ years out of the product but there's no guarantees people will care for it.

@David McKee, welcome I just started out in REI. Welcome aboard, it's a constant learning lesson for all!

@Kelly Zingarelli I would love to part-take in the monthly meet ups. I messaged Bernadeu as well.

Post: Do you give clients a moving day present? A pizza gift card?

I just rented my first condo to a tenant. I provided a gift basket which contained the following: (call me crazy)

Laundry Basket (new to hold the items and because no washer/dryer in unit but onsite)

Small Tide Pods package (to get that starter load going)

Cascade Platinum package for dishwasher (probably a years supply cost like $10 at Target)

Swiffer new for laminate floors to keep clean ($20?)

Paper Towels (two rolls) ($2-$3 bucks)

Toilet Paper (4 pack) (for when moving people forget the basics during a move)

Hand Soap ($1.79 I think)

Dish Soap ($2.00 or less Dawn)

I spent maybe $60 on all of it max. I was going to add a small gift card for a local grocery store or possibly a pizza gift card. I didn't get the gift card on this one but I will on the next.

I got a big thank you from the tenant. Let's see how it all goes, the items were basically things that we all forget when moving and it's helpful to have in my opinion.

I plan on doing this for each unit, it's a memorable gift/item and while some people would never provide it, if the tenant stays more than one year the gift pays for itself in my mind!
