I want to put a video surveilance system in at my 4-plex. I have looked online, and seen some reasonable prices, but I'm a little worried that the installation might be an issue. If there's anyone out there with experience in this matter, it would be super helpful to hear from you.

My brother is investing in a 4-plex where he will be an owner-occupant. I keep getting different answers as to what type we should get, and how much it will cost. He spoke with a salesman today, and was told that each unit has to be insured individually, and our payment will be $400/month. This can't be right, can it? If so, we're sunk. Help please!

While looking at another property, I stumbled on a vacant house across the street. I checked the tax records, and it is owned by bank of america. It is not listed on the mls yet. What are my options in regards to dealing with the bank? Is it even possible? Thanks in advance for any help. I am a beginner. Obviously.
