I'm looking for opinions on the best software to use for compiling data. I'm aware of some of the name brands such as Crexi and Costar, but was curious if anyone has found a service with similar features for a less expensive price.

My partner and I are seeking advice from investors that are familiar with doing renovation work on someone else's property for a percentage of the equity. I know that's a vague request, but I'm new to this and would appreciate learning from someone that has done this successfully.

I'm talking to a seller that has unrealistic price expectations for his property. What are some strategies to get him to agree on a more realistic price? His underwriting is far off from mine and my partners'.
