I'm looking for opinions on the best software to use for compiling data. I'm aware of some of the name brands such as Crexi and Costar, but was curious if anyone has found a service with similar features for a less expensive price. 

My partner and I are seeking advice from investors that are familiar with doing renovation work on someone else's property for a percentage of the equity. I know that's a vague request, but I'm new to this and would appreciate learning from someone that has done this successfully. 

What are some good questions to ask contractors in order to find the most honest and adequate one for my multifamily projects?

I'm talking to a seller that has unrealistic price expectations for his property. What are some strategies to get him to agree on a more realistic price? His underwriting is far off from mine and my partners'. 

I'm looking for advice from investors on how to best raise capital for renovating and building student housing around LSU and other college markets. Please comment below.
