@Nathan Gesner

Appreciate all the advice. I went pretty deep up the manager route with customer service at Scanna Energy and they didn’t propose this option. I will try again, specifying this request. Thank you again.

I sold a house in Atlanta Georgia four years ago and forgot to cancel the landlord agreements in place with the power and gas companies. The current tenants who moved in in August never put utilities in their name so they reverted back to mine. Has anyone ever experienced this situation? Do I have any legal recourse to pursue the $800?

@Chris Seveney

Thank you Chris. Mortgage company is my first call on Monday. This one is in a very nice area. Much bigger and nicer houses going up across the street. Would like to hang on to it if the # work.

@John Mocker

Thank you John. I had it insured at 80% rebuild cost so if they deem it a total loss do you think they would still wait until the construction was complete?

How does the depreciation figure into the equation?

Had my first fire, looks like it will likely be a total loss. Just curious of any advice from those who have been through it. Also any thoughts on rebuild vs sale of the lot. Thank you so much!

@Trent B Paul

Hi Trent, can I piggy back on those intros for consult? I have 3 houses in Marietta . 1 with no mortgage and 2 with over 100k each in equity that I would like to understand options to redeploy.

Thank you!
