What is the best report showing submarket migration updated weekly or bi-weekly?

1031 Question

I purchased my personal residence Oct 2019, therefore if I sold my house at this time I would be hit with taxes on the gain since I have not lived 2 years or more etc.  However, would it be possible to 1031 gains from my personal residence into a multifamily investment?

Thanks in advance!

@Bill Hampton I appreciate your thorough suggestions.  Being an avid reader I have read most of BP books which have made a significant impact on my investment thinking and strategies. I am excited to put those lessons into practice and not become paralyzed in the learning phase.  Your advice is certainly sound and thank you for providing a short cut template to take full advantage of all the tools and resources Bigger Pockets has to offer!

My Best,

Brent

@Marlen Weber  Thank you for connecting.  Apparently my intro was too lengthy as BP cut out my goals and what I hope to achieve etc! I would love to connect and see if there is a way I may bring value to your business. Feel free to send a direct message.

I look forward to chatting further.  Have a great day!

My Best,

Brent

@Richard Helppie-Schmieder Thank you for reaching out. My long term goal is Multi Family buy and hold. Seeking to immerse myself in the industry for immediate cashflow through partnerships, apprenticeship or perhaps property management where I can add value while honing my skills establishing a portfolio. I am initiating conversations with my existing network for potential investors and cultivating new connections.  Hope that provides a little guide. :)

My Best,

Brent

Hey Everyone,

My name is Brent Cheney in Dallas TX. My wife Carolina and I have an amazing 4 year old son Alexander . From a career perspective, I have been in the Wholesale/Retail Clothing Industry for 20 years until my position was terminated a few days ago. Once the initial shock wore off, I realized this was the best thing that could have occurred…which I appreciate may sound peculiar. I am unencumbered to achieve my burning passion in Real Estate which up until now I have allowed a "comfortable situation" to kill action.

Please reach out and look forward to connecting with everyone!

My Best,

Brent Cheney
