Hey Dan, would you mind giving me the names and contact info for these investor friendly contractors? I am in the works of finding my first deal and would like to have a team ready when the ball gets to rolling. Thank you!

Hey all, i'm currently looking into purchasing my first home for a rehab job, and i'd like to have everything ready once I get the ball rolling. Can anyone recommend some honest and efficient working contractors in the Orlando area? Anywhere from putting up drywall to installing new countertops and remodeling bathrooms. Thanks!

Thanks everyone! I'll look into what classes UCF offers as far as real estate. I've considered doing a live in flip during my next semester, and my parents have offered to pay for the mortgage but I know conventional loans will not be offered for properties that are not move-in ready, so that would be one obstacle. Again thank you all for the input and advice, I really appreciate it!

Hey all, i'm 19 and a sophomore here at the University in Central Florida and want to get started in the flipping business, but I have the same excuse as everyone else - no money. It seems the best/only route for me to go would be a private lender or hard money since a bank would most likely laugh in my face when asking for loans for this type of business, especially at my age. Can anyone assist me in finding different ways to raise enough capital to start investing, or know where I could start looking? I don't want to be blindsided by a high class investor who would take advantage of my lack of knowledge to make him more rich and make me worse off than I currently am, which I know happens all too often.

Thank You!

Brennon

Hey everyone, my name is Brennon and I'm interested in investing into real estate like all of you. I'm currently going to the University of Central Florida in the early works of majoring in finance. My experience in real estate is pretty minimal, but i've been listening to a few of the podcasts and webinars and it seems that I have a lot more to learn. My mother who is a real estate agent gives me some advice here and there but besides that I'm still a novice. Can't wait to hear from everyone!
