@Sarah Krausse

You’re right about developments in the East Ridge area. Our offices are just 5 minutes or so away from East Ridge. A realtor just recently mentioned a lot/land purchase that could handle a 6-plex apartment somewhere in ER. We haven’t seriously considered it yet due to other more pressing projects and investments. If you’re interested I could find out more.

On the other hand - Do check out our multi-family development of 18 units if you’re up to visiting - 2001, 2003 & 2005 McCallie Avenue. They are based on the “Missing Middle” for rental housing in Chattanooga. It’s a brilliant build/concept developed by area architects (as I’ve been told) to meet the housing needs of the community.

@Damaso Bautista

I’ll be here in Chattanooga in August. Let me know if you’d like to meet up.

Pretty good grasp here on the East Lake area. We have one sfh there on section 8 and it’s been a great rental.

@Charles R Payne Here’s an older article worth reading:

@Scott Mac It works! Thanks. Type “@?” then pause.

@Tuba Warden Thanks for those comments. These are built based on the “Missing Middle” - much needed for our area. Johnathan ? built one apt building using the same plan for CNE. They are near Redemption to the Nations church. Such cool buildings!

The MLS for Chattanooga seems pretty dry, definitely not like the Atlanta market. Can anyone recommend a good wholesaler or brokers who specialize in multi family?

Check out 2003 and 2005 McCallie Avenue in Chattanooga  (6 unit apartments) if you’re still looking for a multi-family place to live in and rent out.

I am in the midst of working a commercial deal; the sole member of the LLC is offering a percentage of his interest for sweat equity - consulting services, etc.

If you have made or received an offer to purchase a membership interest in an LLC I would love to see a template or redacted copy. I searched the files with no luck. Of course we will receive legal counsel on this but I thought I would reach out here first.
