How did you finance this deal?

HELOC/Private Money Lender

How did you add value to the deal?

A remodel. This remodel included all new plumbing, a complete bathroom gut, all new flooring, exposing the brick fireplace, all new appliances, paint inside and out, etc.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

We did too much ourselves since the workers we had lined up backed out the night before closing. This made it take too long.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

I have an offer on my first investment property. After rehab the home will be a 4/2. I have been told it may be a good area to rent by the room. Does anyone know of any websites to market this other than Furnished Finder? 

First time investors looking to make sure we do our due diligence. Sounds good to us but want to make sure we aren't buying out of excitement to get started. Thanks for all the awesome collaborators here on this amazing platform!
