Soo I'm excited to just be starting my journey towards becoming a real estate investor and I was wondering if anyone can give me helpful tips on finding a good mentor in my area. I am reading the beginners guide from bigger pockets and from other reading I've done I know that finding a mentor is a huge step for the journey. I was wondering how I would go about finding one. Do I just dry call well known investors in my area? How do I find well known investors in the area? And how can I prove that I am worth their time by adding value to myself? Thanks so much for your time!

My name is Brad, i am a new member to this site after stumbling upon it today. I have absolutely no knowledge in real estate investing. I am hoping i can use that too my advantage and gain all of the right habits and lessons i need right of the bat. Pleeease feel free to give me any beginner tips i really want to learn as much as i can. I have never really fully invested into anything in my life and i am here to change that. I am 22 years old and still currently living with my parents with no financial freedom. i would like to change that starting today. If you've made it this far i really appreciate you taking the time to read some nobodies introduction.
