@Marco Padilla your right and thanks. I will use it as a lesson learned. All units were rented out. Most were recently rented. It’s about 6,000 total in deposits.

@Eric C. Yea I’m looking into it. It can take some time for me to get my money plus lawyer fees. It depends on how long he carries this out. I really drop the ball I should’ve stop the closing.

@Eric C. Bond for deed. It was in closing docs. He didn’t bring the check at closing. I should’ve postpone the closing. I can take him to court for it but it isn’t worth it.

@Michael King 6,000 exactly. It isn’t worth it. I’ll take it as a lesson learned. Thanks for the advice.

@Michael King he’s suppose to calculate what he used for damages while tenants were living there and release the remaining funds to me. He didn’t have the check at closing I should’ve postponed the closing until checks were available. My mistake.

Recently purchase an 8 plex, the old owner seems like he isn’t handing over the tenants deposits. Should I ask for a new deposit from the tenants?

@Will Fraser thanks checking it out now

I recently brought an 8 plex and commercial warehouse. It’s pretty from from my house. Is there any good apps or sites where my tenants can pay there rent online at there expense?
