@Nathan Killebrew I just went through this exact same scenario myself, and it is hard! Especially when you have friends that you care about and have been such a big part in your life for so long. Just remember you are a combination of the 5 people you spend the most time with. I don't think you need to cut them out of your life, but as you progress through your goals you will find like minded people that will elevate you to the next level and that is who you want to surround yourself with. No need to cut them out of your life, but you don't want them to slow you down.

I am looking into buying my first property here in Salt lake County, I have been doing a little research on Mother-in-law homes as well as ADU's, as SLC just loosened the laws on them. I was hoping to see if anyone had any experience/success with these types of properties in the area? Also, if anyone could help me find resources to see exactly what parts of the Valley it is allowed in that would be great!

Thank you!

@Bryan Clement Honestly I think personal health/fitness is HUGE to my energy/motivation. When I get up early and move and stay active, I have more energy, my mind thinks more clearly, and I feel better about myself. As hard as it is to get motivation to go workout and eat healthy, you’ll never regret it after the fact.

Loved this podcast! Always great to hear success stories from people in the same local area as myself.

Hi all,

I am relatively new to BP as well as the SLC area in general and arm looking for recommendations!

I graduated with a finance degree from Utah state and am currently working a great job st a bank here, however I really want to get into real estate both as an agent and as an investor. I just barely got my license, and so I am looking for any recommendations you guys have for brokers to work with.

Super excited to get more involved in this community and thank you to everyone for the help!
