To learn how to flip, first learn the locations where flipping is actually possible. NW DC, NE DC, SE DC are a few right off the bat. Then see what the actual acquisition cost that was paid for a flip, and what it sold for. That will tell you what other flippers are paying, and what they are selling for. Then the delta between those is what your renovation costs, soft costs, and profit are.

Hello BP Family, 

My name is Brandon. I am a 28 year old active real estate investor. And I house hacked my first 3 unit apartment. 

I’m looking to learn how to flip properties. I’m a firm believer in you are what you do. So that being said I want to surround myself with more real estate minded individuals. Anyone in the DC, Maryland, Virginia, PA area let’s connect. I have a lot of value and I’m looking to connect.
