Begin by learning the basics of this industry, not how o be a deal maker in some niche but understand how and why things are done. Strategies come after that. Read comments on BP from experienced investors and you'll see that wholesaling is not the way to begin. There are other low and no money transactions that are legal, ethical and more profitable.

Your carpentry knowledge and skills will come in handy, now develop the business skills. Good luck :)

Thanks for the tip if you have any links I could read up on that would be awesome. So wholesaling is like a last resort in the real estate business or is it looked down upon all together?

Hello guys my name is Brandon and i am fairly new to this industry just looking for good people to have on my team, those who are self-motivated, excited, ambitious and hard working, with the mind set of a go-getter.

I've not had any true real estate experience just yet but i have always had a thing for carpentry and my uncle was a carpenter. i am good with my hands and i am fairly good with tools as well. right now i do work a full time job but if i follow my plan in 10 years my long term goal is to quit my full time job and live off positive cash flow off properties that i own.

Was thinking about wholesaling as a start to build cash then converting to buy and holds and fixing and flipping homes. As of right now i'm just looking for those who are knowledgeable and willing to grow with me? if your in the Indianapolis area, don't be a stranger! and remember when opportunity knocks, just make sure your door isn't locked!
