I’ve had the opportunity to bid on quite a few fence installation jobs. Is this something someone could do full time? Installing maybe 1-2 a week? Just looking to see how big the market is for it. Thanks!
Me and my fiancé recently just bought our first home and are doing all the “flip” work ourselves. Being in our lower 20’s we still both live at home but are getting married in September. She will be graduated from nursing school in may and the house should be done in a few months then I️ will move in and she will move in once we’re married. We are excited for this next step in our lives. Mainly just looking to see if somebody else has bought a fixer upper and done the work themselves and if there was any profit selling it after living in it a couple years (to avoid capital gains) Thanks!
Also I️ wanna add that I’m not wanting to grow a huge “portfolio” just would like to have some passive income. I️ plan on continuing to work full time.
Thank y’all for the insight, I’ll keep doing some research!

I’m 23 now and getting married in September. So with a combined income later this year it would probably take about 5-7 years depending on how aggressive we save. Should have about 50-60 grand cash by then. Only debt would be our mortgage

I️ know it’s popular to “leverage” any cash on deals but it just seems better to wait till I️ could pay cash for anything. That way it’s owned outright and don’t have to stress tenants as much not paying or a flip not selling right away. Just wanna know some people’s experience with this. Thanks.
