I will run the facebook ad idea past the owner, im sure he would be willing to. I will have to help him set up a facebook account since he isnt into social media very much. I will look into contacting the agencys to see if there is more we can do then simply post to their website.

Thank you for your reply as well. I will talk to one of the nurses we have staying here to see if i can track down a local admin.

Hello,

I have a mentor/employer with whom i have been working with for about two years now. We recently got to talking about how he is having trouble finding tenents. He has a very niche buisness model that serves traveling nurses in furnished, extended stay rentals (week by week up to a year long). He is letting me help him find tenents by increasing the online presence. I have posted to zillow, craigslist, facebook marketplace and furnished finder. Does anyone have experiance in this type of buisness model or has ideas to find more potential nurses? Possibly a contracting with a nurse traveling agency of some sort? Any direction would be much appreciated.

Greetings!

I am Branden and i am 20 years old an new here. This post is kind of an introduction and a search for advice.

I have recently discovered real estate on my search for financial literacy. I first got the idea to start my own buisness before i stumbled apon real estate so it lead me to a fork in the road. This fork is between continuing with my plan to start a windshield repair buisness (rock chips, scratches, long cracks, headlight restoration), or commit to a w2 income at a local Car lube shop. The only reason this became a problem for me to decide was because i have been recently given the opportunity to become a manager of the store which would be a good pay raise from what i am making now. The reason for starting a buisness would be for more possibility of an income increase.  I read that it is possible to get a morgage when self employed however it is more difficult. So maybe becoming a manager and saving heavily would be a good option?

So my question is should i continue to work toward starting my own buisness to be able to potentially get more income, or work to become a manager where i currently work? My end goal is to get into real estate im just trying to decide on the means to the end. Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you and im glad to be here learning from everyone.
