I’ve been very happy with CC. After looking at other investments on my own I decided to add to my position with Grant and Ryan.  I’ve continued to receive excellent returns on Fund II.  I invested in fund IV last fall and the return is lower, but it’s a brand new property.  Overall I’d highly recommend CC.

An update as an investor.....in year one I ended up receiving about an 11% return.  I have not seen any financials or updates beyond the monthly check in over a year. I was hoping to see quarterly, or at least a year end, financial statement.  I’m a little disappointed in that regard.

Their website states you can login any time to see this info but there’s nothing there.

@Don Barth I’d agree with what Grant is saying. No use spending several years investing isn SFH or Duplexes. Save your money and get into something over 10-units and go from there. Every successful multi family investor I’ve been in touch with says to hold out and buy the biggest property you’re able to, and don’t buy anything under 10 units minimum. With that being said, I’d also take your long term goals into consideration. This strategy isn’t for everyone.

@Cindy Larsen I was also wondering the same thing.  Did you ever get an answer to this question regarding the principle portion?

I’m currently invested in the Ormond Beach 272 property and so far I’ve had a wonderful experience. I plan on doing my own investing moving forward, but have been very happy with the monthly checks.

Marc Jolicoeur Thank you very much for the info.  I keep hearing about the 2% rule and things just were not clicking, now I know why.

I am starting to analyze some properties around SW & S Minneapolis by using the 50% & and the 2% rules and I am not seeing anything that is fitting within the parameters.  Am I missing something?  So basically a $300,000 should rent for $6,000 a month?
