I am very ready to start, but at the same time you hear all the skeptics and their opinions. So, I try not to let that bother me.
BUT, I believe I have the knowledge and skills to be successful at this business, I just need a little direction.

What kind of property should I get for my first deal? I would like to do a small cosmetic only renovation. I work for a construction company, so I can do most of the work myself. Would you recommend this or do you think there is a better way to get my feet wet?

And probably my BIGGEST question is, Where do I find good quality leads? I just started looking into REO's. Where would you look for quality, under-valued properties for sale?

Thanks for any input!!!

Brian

Hello, my name is Brian, 26 years old, live in Pittsburgh, PA and EXTREMELY interested in RE investing!!!
I am interested in hearing from fellow investors in the Pittsburgh area. Everything you here these days is about CA, FL, NV, or some other hot market.
I have attended many seminars, read a lot of books and listened to a lot of CD's on RE investing, and now I am ready to dive into my first property.
I just found this website this morning and it seems like there is a wealth of info. here.
I'll talk to you soon!
