Richard- I'm pretty sure I saw a duplex in Pflugerville for sale yesterday priced at 275k. Let me know if you'd like me to look into it.

Hey Dylan,

You've already decided to do this it sounds like, so the real question is keep it or flip it, right? What is the market like there? Are homes comparable to yours selling at the price you want? Are you looking for a cash profit or a long term investment? Can you use this as a springboard to start your REI business? These questions, once answered will give you the insight your looking for. Personally, if I already had a good tenant in place I would hold onto it and work on repairs as needed. If it cash flows, I wouldn't sell it until I had another (better) cash flow opportunity. And like @Carson Sweezy said, use it as a free education as long as you can!

Good luck!

Hello! I am new here on BP and excited about meeting others in the Austin, TX area. I have some experience in multifamily property management, but really want to get into some flips and build on my career. I've been learning as much as possible the last few weeks, and I can't wait to learn more. So far the BP community has been fantastic!
