Welcome from Phoenix! You are right on with the BP site. You will find tons of valuable information on whatever your REI plans are. The podcast and webinars are outstanding!

Good luck!

I agree with Ned as there are many if not most counties that offer OTC Tax Liens. Your best option is to pick the location (state and county) you want to invest in and go to that specific County's Tax Assessor Website and that is where you will find all your information. If you can't find what you are looking for there, give the county assessor or whom ever is responsible for the tax liens a call and they are typically more than willing to help you out and point you in the right direction. Also agree that at this point many can be what is considered low quality.

Most real estate agents don't know how to evaluate an investor deal. So first make sure you do. There are tons of posts and tools here about evaluating deals.

Ned, thanks. I am totally understanding that I am moving into a new realm when it comes to investing and i am ready to lean and make it work! Thanks again for the tip though!

Hi all,

I am new the REI world, but do have my RE license for about 7 years now. Really excited about investing and looking to get my feet wet. In the process of getting all my ducks in a row so I hopefully will be ready to buy real soon and love all the info on BP.

We are looking at Wholesale/Fix & Flip/ and possible Fix and Hold mainly in the Phoenix market for now, but do want to expand that within a year or two. Any suggestions, recommendation, or direction is always welcome!

Happy Investing!

Bob
