Im flying to vegas for my bachelor party in a couple weeks. Flights from the east coast are literally 75 dollars round trip right now.  Too bad we booked flights a while ago. I am expecting some huge promotions to get people in casinos while we are there.  To me there is a difference in being cautious and living your life in total fear that something is going to happen to you. No way in hell we are cancelling unless a plane refuses to take off or airports shut down.

@Beau Fannon yep always some sorta positive in everything! I am refinancing my rentals now and getting quotes less than 4% !!!!

Can you tell me who you are using, are they nationwide or local to you?

Sounds Good, I did notice the new flooring when I looked at the pictures again. Congrats!

They look good after but I don't think they remodeled them.  They cleaned and painted. The before pictures didnt look unlivable just very dirty.

My brother has a whole home filter. It's one filter but also he didnt have a lead issue so I'm not sure. I think the filters would need to be on each faucet. I would also think that would be a ton cheaper than redoing all the plumbing

Just did some research on gnnd.  Weren't you suppose to stay in there home 3 years to get the discount?

Are the houses on the same piece of land, as in the same tax parcel? That would require splitting the lot, and is a different problem than just the lending side of things. Otherwise, why not? One mortgage for one house. Another mortgage for the other. Two appraisals, two mortgages, two closings.

Nope on the same street an each is part of a duplex.  I guess I just wanted some reassurance.  I can't repay the 135k loan within a year and this being my first investment deal just worried about things going wrong.

I'd rather not commit mortgage fraud but that's just me.  Definitely would not advise a client to do so if I was a mortgage broker.

What Happens If You’re Caught Lying?

Are you still willing to take the risk? You could be facing major trouble if you’re caught. For starters, your lender could immediately demand full repayment of the loan. And they could move the property to foreclosure if you’re unable to pay. But that’s not even the worst-case scenario. Your case could be escalated to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, risking criminal charges.

Are you planning on living there initially?  Sounds like shady advice
