I recently paid for and attended a 2 day seminar with the Mike Watson Institute. Mike actually presided over the seminar. While I was impressed with the information I received (it made sense and wasn't the typical "pie in the sky" BS) I would like to hear from those of you who may have already attended or had interaction with this program!
I try to avoid the scams with all due diligence!

I have actually subscribed to their foreclosure list (not presently). I was quite satisfied with the service. Unfortunately, I can't address their AZ lists because my focus was in the San Francisco Bay Area. However, if their list for AZ is as good as CA, it should be OK. I hope this helps. Let me know how things workout!

Go to Foreclosures.com. They are reputable. They publish a list of the "scammers". Nu way is on the list. Hope this helps :groovy:

I have been working as a loan officer more than selling RE. I've recently attended the Mike Watson Institute 2 day seminar and I'm anxious to get started on the investing side. I'm trying to move way out of my comfort zone. Best of all, I've got the most supportive wife anyone could have.

I will have lot's of questions, many probably stupid, but as the old saying goes, the only stupid question is the one not asked!

...and just wanted to say hello to everyone! I'm a new Broker (got my Broker license 10/28/05). I am in sponge mode right now!

Question for the more experienced investors out there? Does it help or is it a hindrance having a Broker's license or does it matter at all? :roll:
