The way the law is reading it is excluding the exceptions....a double negative, if you will...

If the loan is on a primary residential property the lender/buyer/owner of the loan,

@MattP, I guess a better question would have been, how robust is the information in the databases that they pull from. I used a tenant screening service recently and got a reply back almost immediately. That makes me wonder if the query and the data queried is of value.

No matter which service you use, hopefully you are having your tenants pay the screening fee.

What information do you get exactly? From the info on the website it appears to be very limited...
