I live in the area where the 2018 “Camp Fire” burnt down the town of Paradise. It’s really turned the market upside down over here. A lot of money was settled in the lawsuit and now that people are getting paid, houses are going quick.

Has anyone here had any success investing in one of the wildfire affected areas? I’m curious to hear of any strategies.

I’ve been looking at the Kansas area as well. I have family there and it’s cheap, cheap, cheap. Just not sure it makes financial sense right now.

thanks guys/gals

Dustin

YouTube is a great resource and BP has a library of educational content on there.

Credit Repair is possible. Do it yourself it's easy. Once I have made my first REI I will be working towards my state requires surety bond to do credit repair professionally in California.

Hey guys/gals,

Dustin here from Northern California. New invester (in training hah)looking to network and learn as much as possible before pulling the trigger on my first deal. I have a background in Carpentry and come from a family of licensed general contractors. 35 years old single with no kids. Have been reading book after book and I'm a big fan of the BP Podcast!

See you around!

I have found house hacking is rather common. buy a multi family complex and live in one of the units while the other tenants make your mortgage. In your case, due to income, you say you'd like to lay cash. Great idea for passive income! I'm new to the game but that's exactly what id do but then again there are far more qualified investors you'd rather hear from than me. Good luck!

Using the double close option, is there a completed transfer of funds from the Wholesaler?
being added as an authorized user is a common trick to boost scores for sure. congrats
just moved from Lancaster. I live up north of Sacramento now. Lots of cheap property down by you.
