i will definitely ask them for a copy of the survey! I forgot to mention that before i bought my house and before my neighbor bought his house the Department of Transportation owned both of our houses ! They bought them about 25 years ago because they wanted to put a bypass through where our houses are located! The bypass was voted down and isnt going through! Which is why my house and the neighbors was put of for sale and i purchased my home and he purchased his! This fact is probably the reason this issue is just coming up now!

I haven't had a survey done but the person who built and originally owned my house had one done about 20 years ago! My boyfriend works with the son of the guy who built my house and thats how i found out! The realtor that is selling my neighbors house has said that they are going to get a survey done on my neighbors house! They were supposed to close on that house this friday but it is postponed now!

Two years ago i bought my first home! A year ago the gentleman that lived next to me passed away! And now his parents are selling his house and are set to close this coming Friday! I found out this past week that half of his garage and a good chunk of his yard is actually on my property! Any thoughts on what i can do?
