Interesting discussion.  I am in the middle of possibly buying 10-16 unit buildings in both Minneapolis and St. Paul.  Are lenders/banks still lending?  If so, will their valuations go down?  Will the interest rates increase on the loans?

Hi.  I am about to ask for financing for a 14 unit apartment.  Is it ethical to ask 2 banks to do the underwriting and then just use one of them? I'm nervous one will deny it. Do I need to tell both of the banks that I am also working with another bank?  This is my first purchase.  Thank you.

Does anyone know where I can find a checklist of all the things I need to do before taking ownership of a 14 unit apartment building?  I will get the keys in about 60 days.  I have never been a landlord before. Thank you!
