Hello. Thanks for the reply. I have not heard about "carried interest" but will be looking into it now! Thank you.

I have an opportunity to work with high income professionals (mainly doctors) that are not currently invested in real estate. I have a solid network of agent / contractors / property management already in place and would like to leverage it to help others diversity their investments, and earn some additional income by providing this opportunity without much effort to the investor. Among my family, we own 40 rentals in a particular market and so believe there is some expertise to offer. (We are not licensed agents.) I have received interest in the initial idea of facilitating the investment, however I am unsure how to structure my compensation. One time finder's fee from agent? A percent of monthly rent for x number of years? I would appreciate any advice in regards to feasible options for this type of scenario. Thank you!
