Im a new investor and hopefully soon a landlord!  Ive found several properties in small/rural towns in the upstate area that I am interested in and I am looking for other landlords in the area that might be able to tell me about the renters market.  Particularly oconee county.  Im just afraid of buying something and not being able to fill it.  Currently looking at properties 150k and under.  Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated!

@Chad Carson We like the travelers rest, taylors, greer areas but not set on anything yet though. Were still learning the ropes and learning about the different areas around greenville.

@Christopher Schmidt We are from Martin county. We moved for better job opportunities for us and to get out of Florida, I don't like the beach and love the mountains and rivers.

Wife and I just moved here from Fl and currently learning the area. We are looking into buying a multifamily property as our first home purchase and to get started in the rental market. Currently we are reading and then reading some more trying to absorb all of the available information. Looking forward to to learning as much as possible from all of the available information here!
