I started writing my Yellow Letters the other day. I have been busy with my job as of late, good news is I work from home...The past few days I haven't written any new letters, I think I have gotten in my own head a bit and started to discourage myself.

I am going to start fresh tomorrow morning and maybe even head to the courthouse for the Foreclosure sales and see if I can nab some additional cash buyers to add to my list.

Thanks for the encouragement so far. Will update soon.

Thanks,
Mike

My name is Mike and I have been on BP for a while now. I have been reading and reading and gaining and gaining knowledge. The biggest obstacle in starting my wholesaling business was fear. The fear of failure, the fear of not being taken seriously, the fear of what my friends and family would say. I am tired of it.

Over the past couple days I have been ramping up to actually start my business. I set up my website, I got a Google Voice number, and I bought a potential sellers list from ListSource. I have been building a buyers list for a month or so and have 32 cash buyers.

Tomorrow I will start to write yellow letters to the list of potentials I bought earlier tonight and mail them out by the end of the week. I have signed up for a trial of Highrise to keep track of my buyers and sellers. I will enter them into the calendar so I can follow up with them until they tell me to stop or sign a contract for their home.

I will keep this post as updated as I can. If you have any suggestions or constructive criticism I would love to hear it.

Thanks BP for giving the confidence and the knowledge to move forward.

-Mike

Hey Stan,

I am a wholesaler in the Tampa area and would be glad to help. Shoot me a private message about exactly what you are looking for.

Thanks and I look forward to working with you.

Do you guys think it's possible to wholesale properties in NYC? Why or why not?

I was just doing some thinking and I would like to know the details of your fastest deal. How long it took from beginning to end, what type of deal (ie wholesale, flip, etc.), and what your profit was on that deal.

I'm just curious.

Thanks,
Mike

This might seem like an easy one to most of you seasoned investors out there, but what should the message on my Google Voice account say when potential sellers call my number?

I have something in mind, but wanted to see what other investors have used that works and gets people to leave messages.

Thanks in advance,
Mike
