Very interested in this topic. Any success stories with this program? 

This was very helpful to read. My wife and I just purchased a four plex and although we did do an inspection that reported most appliances and equipment were in average condition, we really don't know the history or these items and if more than one failed this year the warranty would pay for itself. We also know there is a plumbing issue. 

Thanks for the different view points, for our situation the home warranty would give us a good piece of mind. 

Hi Bigger Pockets community, 

My wife and I have already brought our first home in the hopefullyup and coming area of South LA in View Park/Baldwin Hills. We're working our next deal near Leimert Park which is also slated for a huge upswing. We are still very new and just trying to make smart decisions. We are looking to be smart landlords and make investments that will pay off for our kids in the future. Mostly looking for opportunities to Buy and Rent right now. 

Very excited to learn from the wealth of knowledge in the group as well as help other folks who are starting right behind me.
