As Scott said, not paying rent isn't the eviction reason for Cook County! Not sure about the other county at the moment. I've contacted attorney earlier but tenant's awareness of eviction moratorium has completely removed fear of loosing housing, that cause deep financial hardship to landlord like me. I've heard rumors of extending eviction moratorium till Jan, 2021. 

Hello all, I've a rental property in the Cook County of Illinois and tenant is not paying rent at all for last 5 month with out any payment plan in place. Delinquency in the rent amount is now turning into a snow ball of deep financial hardship. I'm looking for recommendation in legal process of eviction and/or guidance in resolving this critical situation. Sincerely...
