Hello Joel! To be completely honest, at this point I am not sure what my next steps should be. I do know that I want real estate to be a part of my portfolio moving forward, but not quite sure if the market here in SD is something that is in my ballpark considering my current knowledge base. What kind of advice would you give an aspiring young investor in my position? Any specific resources you can point me to? Thanks!

Hello everyone! As you could tell from the title, I'm new to the site. I stumbled on it this morning, and it is already proving to be a great find. I am a 24 year old finance major located in San Diego, CA, with a strong desire for investment knowledge and success. I have little actual investment experience thus far in my career, as I am still in the stage where I do not feel I have enough knowledge to be confident in decisions regarding what to do with my money. I am currently invested in mostly low risk investment vehicles, but i'm very interested in diversifing my portfolio further. I am comfortable with the certainty of accepting risk and volatility in my future endeavors. I am sincerely looking forward to learning from all of you and meeting some inspirational figures here, see you around!
