I represent a number of investors in the South East and I am looking to build out our Chattanooga market over the next year.  I will be in town this Friday and I am looking for a package deal for one of my clients.

I plan to spend a good bit of time in Chattanooga in the coming months. Does anyone here attend the local REIA meetings that could give me any info?

Augusta is a low and slow market for appreciation which isn't bad for buy and hold with high cap rates. We do in fact have a lot of big business moving us along. Buy and hold investments in this market are clutch. Fort Gordon's expansion and move for cyber command to be here, plant Vogtle, three major hospitals and the growth of our small university are moving many transient folks to this location. I facilitate many deals in South Augusta and I would still say our average purchase price is far below the $70k you mentioned. Hope that helps.

Fort Gordon Augusta Ga. incredible growth in the area due to signal and cyber command here. All we do is invest. Contact me. Even if you have to leave quickly, have a property management company who is founded by investors and caters to investors take care of it.
