First post!  I am excited about our journey to the Westside of Jacksonville.  We currently own one property in the Arlington area.   I have been studying Avondale/Riverside/Murray Hill/San Marco, and more recently, Springfield and Fairfax.  I'm completely impressed with Jacksonville and have been researching this market since 2019.  First house I looked at on the Westside was in Riverside, on Downing Street.  House was for sale and I did not have a realtor yet so I just walked around and took a peek in the windows, I think it was a remodel/update or new build, but fit in seamlessly.  Every time a listing comes up on Downing St in Riverside in my target price range ($300-400K+) I take a deep dive.  Fantastic street.

I have been focused on finding something before the market explodes again.  There has been a lull since August/September 2023, in my opinion.   We have made some offers, pulled out of 2-3 due to unethical reasons with realtor/seller, lost some offers, and now hopefully, a closing at the end of the month in Murray Hill.   If I were to invest in JAX right now at the beach, Atlantic Beach is goals.  Jacksonville is huge, and it is not all about the beaches.  It has so much to offer.
