If you plan to build the garage eventually anyway, you may as well do it now. You would be able to charge more rent for a house with a garage and thereby start making your money back on that garage.

Valid points made about sending an "uneditable" document. PDFs are certainly more secure than a Word document but are not without fault.  PDFs can be edited fairly easily by anyone with a little more than basic computer knowledge. The safest bet would be to execute the document in person.  And, of course, always read before you sign...even if you are the one who originated the document.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site. I stumbled across it while looking up information on flipping houses. I'm interested in flipping as well as buying investment properties. I've been considering getting into this for quite some time, but have yet to take the leap and purchase my first property.
