Dear BP friends,

As I informed in one of my earlier posts, i am a Foreign National investor and I am building up a multi family portfolio in the Miami Florida area. COVID-19 made my traveling to the US more difficult, but finally I am arriving to the Miami area for a few weeks.

I would love to meet new people active in wholesale, real estate brokerage, development and lenders and potential investment partners to team up with in the Miami area.

Please DM me if you would like to schedule a meeting.

Best regards,

Bert Knot

@Charles Carillo thanks a lot for your reply.

Best regards,

Bert

@Will Fraser thanks a lot for you advise!

Does anyone know lenders and/or have experience/advice with lenders to finance properties held in a US LLC but controlling ownership by a foreign national? And what approximate conditions would apply for such loans? Would small community banks enter in such loans or only the larger banks?

The properties are located in Miami.

Your advise is highly appreciated.

Thank you

Bert

@Craig Anderson thank you! Since I have done my best deals as a countercyclic investor! So I am not afraid taking risk at at recession moments. I’d be glad to hear your vision how you see the timeline to this and what areas you see as opportunities.

Dear BP members, I'm new to this forum.

I'm a real estate investor living in Tel Aviv and Amsterdam.
I have been active investing in Real Estate in Western Europe for more than 15 years building up an significant portfolio funded by institutional funds.

Last year I have decided to expand my activities in Miami, where I already acquired some single family assets to get familiar with the processes and the market. At this moment I am negotiating to acquire a multifamily portfolio and 2 hotels.

Due to Covid19 I found myself in March 2020 in a unique situation that suddenly there was a lot of time, which I decided to spend on getting more familiar with the US Real Estate market.
This is how I found the BiggerPockets podcasts and I have been listening to that every day to till today - Great source of information and great to get in touch.

Looking forward to read your posts and meet hopefully soon at one of the events (when flying is possible again).

Best regards,

Bert Knot
