Hello Everyone,

I am about to close on a condo investment property on May 2nd, 2021.  The property is in Lake Bluff IL.

I am looking for a contractor soon after we close to work on our kitchen (It is not a big kitchen). Hopefully, we can have a renter in by June 1st, 2021.

Can anyone recommend a good contractor that can help me out?

Hello @Sarita Scheerpereel. You are correct in the inventory category. I would be doing a traditional loan as I have two kids and not in a position to house hack.

Can anyone advise what specific charges I can dispute or reduce within the closing costs of a refinance?

I am in the process on refinancing our primary residence  and wanted to see how much can be reduced.

I have analyzed over 500 places using the Bigger Pockets rental calculator, and a lot of them are cash flowiing negative.

Hello Everyone, My name is Bernard, and I am looking for some research on Skokie IL (average rent prices, crime rate ratio of renters to owners...etc) because I am looking to possibly remodel a house to rent out or flip. I checked out the website Neighborhood Scout, but to get any info you had to be a pro member. I might do that, but I wanted to see if anyone in the BP community knew any information first.
