Post: Examples of Investor Pitch Deck

Hello - my partner and I are starting a new real estate investment company.  We are both real estate professionals (I am a real estate attorney and he is a commercial broker), and we plan to syndicate investments in commercial real estate.

I am searching for examples of investor pitch decks - Power Point presentations of 10-15 slides introducing our company and summarizing our investment strategy.  If anyone has examples they are willing to share please let me know.

@Mark Allen, @Gino Barbaro - Would you mind sharing a sample of your pitch book?  We are starting a new real estate syndication company in Anchorage, Alaska and looking for templates to develop our investor materials.  Any help would be much appreciated!

Marc - I am in the same position as you looking for a sample pitch deck.  Did you have any luck in finding a good template for syndication?  If so, would you be able to share?  Many thanks - Ben

David,  That makes a lot of sense.  One question: Who issues these loans?  I'm in Anchorage, Alaska.  Would like to learn more.

Thanks for the responses.   I looked at James Eng's materials.  Good stuff.  The key criteria are: (i) Stabilized property, (ii) Experienced investor (1 year plus), (iii) no rehab or deferred maintenance and (iv) minimum loan size of $750,000

In other words, this a product for a seasoned investor on a stable, large property.  All good - but right now this not a loan for me.  I don't have the scale or experience . . . yet.

Thanks Again!

I've been hearing on podcasts about Terms loans where for commercial multifamily loans the lender agrees to forego principal payments for a few years.  I.e., its interest only.

How does someone get a loan like this?  What is the lender looking for?  What can a borrower offer to a lender to make attractive?

For a Buyer of a commercial multifamily (5+ units) when is the best time of the month to Close?  Early in the month seems best since it permits the Buyer to get that months rent and gives maximum amount of time until first mortgage payment. Thoughts?  What am I missing?
