Post: Affordable housing yes or sell?

Hi everyone!

My name is Ben and I’m a real estate investor and Contractor in San Diego California.

I’m doing a deal North Park San Diego,And I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth to build another unit  on the property? (currently it’s 2 units) 

If I added extra units ,the city will require me to sign a contract with the housing committee to make this affordable housing:

What would you do answer in the comment And share the knowledge!

Should you sell as is( completely remodeled)

or add 1-2 units 

And sign a contract with the housing Committee and make it affordable living?
