I have always wanted to stay clear of them as a home for myself as they drop in value. However would it be good for buy and hold rentals?

@Matthew Whitaker Well I'm 29 years old, I know sometimes it takes risk to make good gains, Having a couple little mouths to feed it home I want to do my best to limit the risk so I would love to be able to pick your brain and learn from both some successes and failures you had. Do you use an LLC or do you do it privately

Am I better off purchasing properties under my own name? Or go ahead and do them under an LLC? At what point is it worth the investment both for security purposes and tax purposes
