Yeah I went from starting out thinking, "hey maybe I can just get motivated and jump right into this," to "wow this is so big, there is so much, what do I even do?" I don't want to get stuck in analysis paralysis, but I definitely think I have a lot more watching, listening, and reading to do before I have half a clue what path I should take.

Yeah I've clearly got a lot of learning to do. Listening to a lot of podcasts for sure. Definitely looking into a lot more options now.

Wow, I didn't realize it was quite so competitive and limited to specific locales. Maybe I'll have to consider renting a place nearby for a place to live for now and look into what I can afford in all cash properties elsewhere for long-distance investing.

Hi, my name is Ben. I'm a video game designer and I live in Fairfax Virginia.

I'd been thinking about switching over some money from stocks to real estate ever since the stock market started going crazy over the virus situation. Now all of a sudden I've been told I need to find and get myself moved into a new place in about 7 weeks. Sure I could just rent an apartment for now and figure all this out later, and I may have to do that for a while, but I hope not. I decided I'd try and use this situation as motivation to actually get out and buy. Right now my goal is to find a place to live that needs some renovation that I can later move out of and rent out when I'm ready to buy a second property. I think I understand the basic idea of BRRRR, but I don't know the first thing about practically pulling it off. I went through the webinar last night and now I've got some books on my reading list from BP, but I also want to get things moving as soon as I can, hopefully without making any major mistakes due to lack of knowledge and experience.
