Hello, BP community -- 

Does anyone have any experience with investor-friendly lenders in Corpus Christi, TX?

New to Corpus -- if any of you guys would like to get together and talk about REI in Corpus, shoot me a message. Happy to meet up.

@Aaron K. Good advice. We have a connection with a private money lender that we are hoping to work with. I assume you would also recommend meeting with local banks and credit unions? Any additional thoughts on setting up meetings with potential lenders?

I am new to the BP community, and new to real estate investing. I am currently a full-time engineer with an oil and gas company in Corpus Christi, TX. My wife @Catie Burt, and I have a one-year-old son and a daughter coming in August. We graduated in 2014 from Texas A&M, spent three years in North Dakota, and are happy to be back home in Texas. As we are balancing a young, growing family and career, life is busy and crazy at times, but we are anxious to get started in REI, in one form or another.

To avoid staying on the sidelines for too long, we are steadily chipping away at our "to-dos" to get started. Working on educating ourselves, building a network, and learning about our local market (along with some potential out-of-state turnkey options).

Looking forward to engaging with the BP community! 

Anyone still active in this thread regarding Corpus REI? I am an engineer new to the area looking to make REI connections, and hopefully get into the local market quickly. Feel free to reach out.
