Hello,  I am brand new to real estate investing.  I have 100K in discretionary cash and want to use it to start a rental income portfolio.  I live in Ct and am looking for a good real estate agent who can truly help me find good deals and understand what I am trying to accomplish.  Any suggestions as to how to find a good realtor who can actually help me in my mission for passive income?

I am a financial planner looking to invest in real estate.   I went to a real estate weekend presentation.   When I did not purchase their additional education package they recommended I become a wholesaler.  I know I will become a real estate investor, but don't know where to start and if I should follow their recommendations.
