Quote from @Sue Forwith:

Has anyone invested with Ashcroft Capital this calendar year? Fund 3? I did and need a copy of the Operating Agreement and they are taking forever to give it to me. I'm a little worried about this investment. Anyone have any bad experiences with them? Good?

I have not. But I would check the SEC fillings online. It should all be published / public information.

Quote from @Katrina Dividina:

Hi Me and My husband are investors in New Mexico mainly Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Farmington, and Gallup. We would love to connect with motivated sellers, realtors, and fellow investors. We have 6 properties (9 doors), currently in contract with another 4 units in Gallup, NM. We do mostly Midterm Rentals, Buy and Hold. We only do cosmetic rehab. Let us know if you have deals. We also have some deals for you in Flora Vista, NM. A house that sits in 4 acre lot along the river, and a commercial lot.

There is an Albuquerque reia meetup group.

I love paying taxes because it means, despite my best efforts, I made money in the governments eyes.

Despite an advanced graduate degree in taxation, despite a real estate strategist, despite accelerating depreciation, despite an accounting team taking ever expense and write off legally possible... I still made money, even on paper.

Someone else had the glass half full approach, and that's my take on why I love paying taxes. Its like saying to the government "you got me, hand in the cookie jar, I made money."

Thanks for reading,

Can you Explain your inquiry further? A good loan officer will know all of the debt / income / expenses that an applicant has.

If you have a pro membership you can create an "Event" under bigger pockets -- network -- events. I am not near Washington, but I love talking about real estate, calls, remote meetings or emails. Otherwise, I have seen local real estate meetings on "meetup" or similar applications. During covid I have seen a lot of skype or zoom meetings.

I have not invested with Ashcroft, however I have invested in several syndications. The best benefit of syndications is the passive nature and the amount of information you can gather. You have prepared financials, and can learn about the strategy and performance of the properties based on many years of combined knowledge that the syndication has, in this case Ashcroft. On biggerpockets podcast, they put it a good way... You can buy a stock, in lets say apple or Microsoft, but that doesn't give you a seat at the table of CEO, CFO, COO ect... but In syndications, you can talk with the managing partner and get all the information, strategy, and experience ect....
