Mr. Norman,

Thank you for your reply! Also thank you for being upfront with your confusion as to why I wish to attain a graduate degree when I know with a high degree of certainity that I want to be a realtor. It's a combination of factors. Most of my reasons for doing so are religious (my studies will be completed with devout Catholic universities and the degrees will be in Theology). As much as I have a passion for real estate, I have an equally burning desire for research and academia, so that's where the PhD fits into my plans for my life. Thank you for letting me know about the roles I could fulfill remotely! I'm going to do some more research on the potential roles I could fulfill while away for school you mentioned, and if everything checks out, like I'm sure it will, I reckon I will go ahead and make the aragements to see licensure.

Best Regards,

Thomas

Blessings all,

My name is Benedict, but you all can call me Thomas. I turned 18 two weeks ago, and I have had it set in my mind that I want to be a real estate agent since I was 16. However, education is one of the most important things in the world to me. That education will have me out of New York City ( Where I will be getting my license) for most of the year, and I will only have May and the the summer months to work. Is it still worth getting my real estate license before I am done with school? Will a broker even consider sponsoring me knowing that I won't be able to work for1/6 of the year? Real estate is what I'm going all in on. I love my city, and the idea of putting people moving to my city or those already here into a more comfortable and desireable living situation is a dream profession for me. I just don't know if it's worth attaining licensure so early considering I'll be studying abroad for at least the next 8 years (I'm planning on pursuing a PhD).

Thank you for any replies! God be with you all now and ever and forever!
