@Brian Head That is definitely one of my top options at this point! I have been doing some searching around my campus but I couldn't find any sellers that were close enough to where I could live there and go to school. Thanks much for the reply and advice!

Hello all,

I am a brand new investor based in Milwaukee. I am currently a student (studying nothing remotely close to real estate) and have very little expendable income to truly start my investing endeavor. I am here mostly to learn from the many successes and failures of all of you wonderful people and hopefully one day provide expertise of my own to someone who is in my position.

I am currently trying to read as much real estate literature as possible to give myself a good amount of basic knowledge and simple strategies I can use if I find the perfect deal. Any advice on how to hit the ground running would be much appreciated!

All the best,

- Ben
