Post: Investor to Investor Rental in Oregon?

Hello,

Has anyone ever worked with other investors by letting them rent a home understanding how investor income works?  Most rental places will not look twice at someone who does not have a job or who has not been self employed for more than two years.

I am in Oregon and would love to rent a 2-3 bed house from another investor in Oregon.

Is there a rental ad section on biggerpockets?

Oh I am also interested in seller finance deals for duplex of 2 bed or more in Oregon.

Thank you everyone, this was helpful, I decided to not go after the duplex.  I found some other great potential flips that don't involve so many headaches.

Hello Everyone,

I am a flipper in Oregon and there is a really nice looking deal for a duplex that was foreclosed but the previous owner also owns the community well.  He has stated that whoever buys the house will not have access to the community well.

Has anyone ever been in a situation like this?  I have not made an offer yet, I am wondering if it will be worth the cost to go after the well or to drill a new water well system.

I have legal shield I thought about asking for advice on this from them and I have contacted a well digging company to get an estimate as well.

I am all in!  This is a season of change for my family and I have nothing holding me back from diving in to real estate investing full-time!  Well there is that one thing, money ha!

I see a huge potential here in Oregon, especially in the valley.  I want to be on the ground floor of the coming housing boom here.

The reason I am getting into REI is because my family and I are positioning ourselves to invest in sustainable Orphanage projects around the world. We are tired of relying on others to donate and support orphanage projects. We are 100% committed to creating wealth and changing lives around the world!
