Last year I sold one of my properties on land contract. Do I need to provide my buyer with a form 1098 for mortgage interest? Wondering if this still applies even though it is not a traditional "mortgage".

I appreciate the responses! I can see both the benefits and detractors for either answer. I think I am leaning towards changing my policy to something similar to @Nathan Gesner where spay/neuter is not required but breeding/offspring are prohibited.  I've had a several comments from prospective renters that requiring spay/neuter is inhumane...whether I agree with these comments or not, it seems like it limits my renter pool by having that requirement.

Landlords, do you require your tenants' pets (dogs and cats) to be spayed/neutered? Why or why not? Thanks for your input!
