My partner and I are looking for our first Short Term Rental in Asheville area (Mars Hill, Maggie Valley, surrounding towns) and we will be in town from December 3-8.  We will unfortunately miss the regularly scheduled meetup but if anyone is interested in a spontaneous meetup on Monday or Tuesday evening - we would love to grab a beer and chat.  Let me know if you are interested.

I have been looking at markets for STR and Gary, Indiana has great numbers in AirDNA. Any STR owners in Gary or realtors with clients who would be open to a conversation on what your clients are looking for. I know Gary has a rough reputation so these numbers are surprising to me. Is it going to last? Is Gary really turning around?

I have identified Maggie Valley, NC as a city I'd like to build my STR portfolio. I am looking to build a team and specifically am looking to talk to realtors who have experience working with out of state investors.

I would like to use the BRRRR method for STR and will also need contractors - so please share those as well.

I would be happy with any resources you would like to share in Maggie Valley.  Interested in networking with investors who have seen success in the area.
