Leigh, that is a great story.

I am will to sell the house for what I paid for it any time. I am just not willing to let neighbors try to steal it from me so they can tear it down. They think they can just get what they want with no regard for anyone else. I should add that I live quite a distance from this rental so it is hard to personally go after the bullies.

This last fine which is the only one since my new present tenants have moved in over the winter is for the trashcan. The fine was written on a Sunday. Trash pick up is Monday. There is no room to squeeze the can between the car in the driveway and the house so they put it near the front of the house to get the car in the drive way to be positioned so they can move the can out for Monday morning early. That is where it was when the neighbor called the police to have the ticket written. Technically it has to be in back but this is not normal to be getting a ticket for this. On a Sunday?

I thought too that it was illegal to have camera invading their privacy but from what I have found, it is legal unless we can prove the harassment. I am waiting for a lawyer to call me back but thought I would let all of you weigh in. I will not sell the house to these neighbors. The tenants have told me they have thick skin, but still I really really hate bullies.

On principle, I don't like to reward bullies. They want to be able to destroy the value of the house so they can get it for cheap. If my house becomes vacant, it will have lots of fines and they think they will win just because no one wants to pay a pile of constant fines. The city is Buffalo.

The family in there now are recently moved in have been doing a lot to the house and really want to stay. They want to be in a position soon to buy the house from me. Why should they have to give up their right to live in the house peacefully because of harassing neighbors?

I might add that I can't sell the house for what I paid and because of these neighbors I have had nothing but trouble.

I have related neighbors on either side of my rental that hope by constant harassment to be able to own my property so they can remove the house enlarging their yards. They have actually admitted to this scheme. They constantly complain to every agency and Mayor about my house resulting in an unbelievable pile of fines over the years. They have many cameras pointed at it. They do nothing all day but watch the coming and going of my tenants. What can I do? My tenants are being polite and do everything they can to tow the line. Previous tenants have been bullied into leaving over and over again.

Jim,
I am one of the ones who got duped by cashfowandequity.com, now cashflowwithequity.com. I hope Chris reads this. I feel scammed by this group. Everything reported by ripoffreport.com about them is true. I only wish I had known before I bought four lousy over priced pieces of junk properties. Chris if you read this. You can buy back all of these properties for what I paid plus you pay closing costs and I will change my tune. In the two years I have had these properties it has been one continual nightmare. These rehabbed properties are anything but. They are costing me many thousands more than the rent brings in. I can't sell them because they aren't worth selling. I have had major issues with electricity, plumbing, rotten windows, gutters falling off, citations from the city for peeling paint. Everything you can imagine has gone wrong. Major tenant and management problems. When I visited the houses I was so shocked that I went into a deep depression. How could I be duped so thoroughly?
Jim, give me a contact if you think you can help me. Chris, do you want to clear your name?
